Between Summer Rain {Vintage}

Between Summer Rain I decided there was a window of time that Isobel and I could play dress up. But this time was special. My grandma Isobel lent me a family heirloom the last time I saw her. A christening dress that has been in her family for just shy of 100 years. Holding the dress, I could feel the delicate fabric, and you can just imagine grandma wearing it. It's beautiful. Craftsmanship that sadly seems to not prevail anymore. Buttons hanging on by threads, the color...you only get with time.
Isobel was named after "Gramma". It is still left unsaid as to if we will get her baptized. So this was my window, much like the window between summer rain. Another month, and she wouldn't have fit into it. I know my Grandmother will be happy to see these pictures. She turns 93 this November.
