On The Day You Were Born- Newborn Lifestyle Shoot

This session was so special to me. My friend Carla asked me if I would be interested in photographing the birth of their son. I was honored to be asked! She had a c-section, so I wasn't able to capture it, however, I was lucky to get to be one of the first to get to meet him, just shortly after. I went back to the hospital on day three for another quick visit, and got a few more images. Then once they were home, I did the regular "newborn session" when he was 12 days old.
